I hope you're well.

We are running a series of events in September, across the UK, and we are looking to hire handheld barcode readers, or use an app to scan barcodes, to check delegates in to the events.

However, this is a late request by our client (to replace badges/name check) so we already have a live delegate registration database and our developer is looking to produce the barcodes linked to each delegate record. We would therefore need the scanners to link to our registration database.

Is this something you might be able to support us with? Do you hire out barcode readers only?

We are having conversations with our developer about how best to manage this. It might be that we need to use a separate tracking system, like yours, that produces the barcode/QR code, scans, and tracks, then we upload the attendance reports from your system to the backend of our guest database.

I was keen enquire into some options for badging and registration for an upcoming event were holding and wanted to get an idea on costs/capabilities from you. Event details: -Location: St Regis, San Francisco -Type: Conference -Dates: 17th of November, set up available from evening of the 16th. -No of badges required/attendees: 200 300 total. Please see our key requirements for the service below: -Badging for our attendees in the following format: first side to include attendees name, job title, company and QR code. Other side to include details of bespoke 1-2-1 business meetings. We will provide this information to you prior to the event. -1-2 Attendees from your company to set up equipment (day prior to the event) and provide onsite support for our staff and sponsors when scanning and using the app. Attendees will need to be scanned into sessions throughout the day as well as being registered upon arrival. -4 x types of badges will need printing: Speaker, Sponsor, Delegate and Staff (very similar format). Creative will be supplied by us. -Ability to track delegates attending specific sessions (if we have 2 sessions running at one time, knowing which attendee visited what session) -Ability to provide our sponsors with scanning abilities. If this is possible how many devices / licenses can each sponsor have?-Badges to be printed on site.We run a number of events in the US over an annual period and if we can work this around our budgets it would be likely this could lead to repeat bookings if we can get the cost and offering right.
