Message Hi thereI am new to Edinburgh Napier University and i am working with the team that are arranging our first physical Open Day since the pandemic and i am looking to improve the registration process. Moving forward I shall be looking to have a full event package but for our event next month i need to work within our current systems and i was wondering if hiring some of your event scanners may be suitable? There is already a registration process in place and from what i believe attendees are expected to go to a desk where a member of staff ticks them off on paper form forms - this is not ideal! Using the current system i am able to email out attendees a barcode or QR code with their unique identifying number, i am looking for a scanner that i can give to staff members at the entrance and then scan the barcode/QR code from the attendees device which will store the unique IDs and allow me to download after. I am still to gain a grasp of the volume of attendees but i suspect we would require approximately 15 to 20 scanners to cover the various entrances. If you would please let me know if this is something you may be able to assist with and give an indication of costs that would be brilliant. Many thanks in advanceNeil Neil McGillivrayUK Student Recruitment ManagerEdinburgh Napier University - Scotland
