Located in the city centre, the Peter Jost Enterprise Centre is available all year round for conferences, receptions and seminars.

The main conference theatre offers tiered seating for 118 with writing tablets. Equipped with full PA system, lectern and audio visual presentation system for video, slide and computer data projection. During the Summer months and other University vacation periods, an additional theatre seating 152 is available. In addition to the main conference theatre, the Centre offers five smaller meeting rooms suitable for theatre style or boardroom presentations. Additional meeting rooms are available in the James Parsons Building. These have been refurbished to the highest standard.

A choice of conference theatres and rooms. An open reception area in the Enterprise Centre provides a light and attractive space for pre-event registration and refreshments. Buffet lunches may be served here and seated lunches may be accommodated in adjacent private dining rooms.

A distinctive feature of the Peter Jost Enterprise Centre is that it is home to a number of self-contained business units which offer scientific, technical and IT support services to businesses. Conferences with a technical focus may wish to incorporate demonstrations or presentations by these in-house technical experts. In addition, the adjacent James Parsons Building houses laboratories which are available for hire.

A fully equipped IT suite is also available, offering networked high specification PCs with multimedia facilities, including audio playback, speech capture, live camera and video capture. Internet access is also available. The suite is ideal for IT training sessions and product demonstrations.

The Peter Jost Enterprise Centre has been designed with flexibility in mind to accommodate large conferences and small meetings. Excellent residential accommodation is available at JMU's North Western Hall which is reached via a few minutes walk through the cultural heartland of the city centre. The combination of the Peter Jost Enterprise Centre and North Western Hall offers a complete residential conference package, conveniently situated in the city centre.
