Museum in Docklands is a great place for conferences and meetings and
is housed in a fine Georgian warehouse dating back to 1802. It has been
beautifully restored while maintaining a number of the original brick
and timber features and is now home to a number of unique galleries. The
perfect mix of historical and contemporary combine at Canary Wharf's
newest and most versatile venue. Whether daytime or evening, conference
or entertaining, the Museum is the ideal platform for corporate events.
Occupying 3 parts of the historic Number One Warehouse of West
India Quay, the Museum chronicles a remarkable 2000 year history of the
social and economic development of Docklands from Roman times to
Regeneration. The
Museum is extremely versatile - spaces range from intimate galleries
for a handful of guests to the exclusive hire of the entire Museum for
1800. It
is comprised of 13 different galleries over 4 floors and also houses a
brand new, state of the art lecture theatre with adjoining Quayside
function room. Additional hire spaces include a Quayside boardroom and
Special Exhibition gallery.
